I hear you speak about purpose and maturity, Yes, You are right it is very necessary but one thing you should not leave out is the Financial aspect of marriage. I have heard some people talk as if money isn't important in marriage, you hear people talk about ridiculous scenario because they want to preach to the lady that money isn't important. My question is, how does the man himself feels when he's got nothing tangible to give?
