Attitude or Act- to- kill
I appreciate the Health sector and i know that it is not a very easy profession but there are some discrepancies that must be sorted out, most especially in Higher institutions where the medical sector is less to nothing. The negligence of the ' Ladies in White can be very annoying before we get to the section of the 'Men in White'. This unworthy attitude is so out of medical ethics where life is very important but i am wondering why the these peeps don't take life seriously most especially in this part of the world. Sometimes, i wonder if its because we are students that's why we are being treated like 'Trash'!
but then i do ask myself, am i not human? shouldn't I be catered for? When you get a sick person to the clinic, they rebuff, scream and ask unnecessary questions. Get the patient treated first before you start asking for school i.d card, school receipt and save a life but NO! They wouldn't. Some of them would even look at you and walk out on you and one wonders what happened: if you've caused the nurse any misfortune at all? But this trend has wrecked more than we could imagine. Students die because of this negligence and the school authority would wave it off. When they try to react? they would assume that we are barbarians and that we can't move on, and then the question pops up? Someone died and you think it could be forgotten like that? this person died 'cos of negligence, this person could have lived if He/she was attended to timely.
This act has happened again in Yaba College of Technology{Yabatech} where a student died because of the negligence of the 'School clinic officials_ our ladies in white and their Men at it again!' This student would have survived if they had attended to her right on time. This should be brought to book. They should pay for this act, they should not let it sleep like this because this is what they do almost everywhere.
*the story continues tomorrow. The full gist of this student will be placed here tomorrow, we need to teach these peeps that they must value lives and if they can't? they should leave Service*
